Celebrating Our Launch

On October 2nd, we proudly celebrated the launch of Pulse: South Metro Health Foundation — a new independent charity dedicated to supporting the future of healthcare across Fiona Stanley, Fremantle, Rockingham General, Peel, and Murray District hospitals

Hosted at Fiona Stanley Hospital and officially launched by Hon Meredith Hammat MLA, Minister for Health, the event marked the beginning of a bold new chapter in community-driven healthcare innovation.

Pulse will raise funds and seek community and philanthropic support to deliver:

  •  Life-saving innovations
  •  Breakthrough research
  •   Programs that care for our communities and frontline staff

Pulse is all about:

  • Enhancing patient comfort and dignity
  • Supporting mental health and prevention
  • Funding bold healthcare innovation
  • Backing our incredible health workforce

Pulse Chair David Rowe captured the spirit of the evening perfectly:

“Pulse is about empowering our communities to drive change in health.”

We couldn’t agree more.
